John Whetzal

John Whetzal was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma on February 9th, 1971. He graduated in 1989 from Apache High School in Apache, Oklahoma.  He met his wife Lora at Bethany College in Lindsborg.  He finished his bachelors degree from Cameron University in Natural Science concentrating in Chemistry and minoring in Physics and Biology. John's masters was from K-State in Education Administration and Leadership. His first teaching job was in Anadarko, OK where he taught and coached Jr. High science and was assistant football and basketball coach. He then received a new job where he taught and coached three years in Lawton, OK.  Mr. Whetzal was head football coach and assistant basketball coach at Central Jr. High. John and his family moved to Belleville, KS in 1999, where they lived for six years. He taught secondary science and coached football. While at Belleville John was assistant football coach for four years and head coach for two. Lora and John have three children: Evan, Logan, and Keaton. His hobbies are fishing, bird hunting, gardening or yardwork, and traveling. You can email John at .
