Karla Kramer

Karla Kramer grew up on a farm near Bern and attended high school there.  She went to Colby Community College for two years before transferring to Kansas State University where she received her bachelor of science in elementary education in 2003. In 2011, she completed her master’s degree in gifted education from Emporia State University and has been the gifted facilitator for the Marshall-Nemaha Educational Services Cooperative since that time. Karla is married to Justin Kramer and has three children: Brecken, Latham, and Nola. Before becoming the gifted facilitator, she taught for 5 years at Nemaha Valley Elementary in the 3rd and 4th grades. She also coaches high school scholars' bowl at Nemaha Central.  Karla enjoys traveling, being involved with 4-H, and attending her kids' events. You can e-mail her at
